Channel - Centralised Learning Program
RANZCR is proud to launch a new education program available for all Australian and New Zealand Clinical Radiology Trainees. The Centralised Learning Program (CLP) is a 24-month lecture program, where a new session will be available monthly via the RANZCR webcast library to view on demand. Each session will run for 1.5 – 2 hours, usually consisting of two lectures which are delivered by a local Australian or New Zealand content expert. Viewing of the lecture series is not compulsory, but highly recommended. The content is aimed at the level of an early Phase 2 trainee (ideally viewed within the 2nd and 3rd training years), but available to all trainees, fellows and international medical graduates. Each session is designed around a theme, for example ‘Neuroradiology’, with lectures designed to extend trainees and give them access to expert educators who can help them explore selected topics in greater depth. Themes range from systems-based clinical radiology, through procedural and interventional radiology, nuclear medicine and intrinsic roles. This lecture series is designed to complement learning programs that are already occurring at a Local Network or RANZCR Branch level, aiming to provide high yield knowledge to equip trainees for successful post-fellowship practice. Sessions can be viewed individually or as a group. We encourage you to speak to your Director of Training to see how this program will best fit into your individual learning plan.
