Applications of Artificial Intelligence in CT and MR Imaging, Proudly supported by GE Healthcare
The webinar is designed to provide insights to applications using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in CT and MR clinical practice. The most modern model of AI, Deep Learning, utilizes a deep neural network-based recon engine that learns how to differentiate noise from signals to intelligently suppress noise without impacting anatomical and pathological structures. The resulting images, in CT, provide outstanding image quality with a preferred texture for improved reading confidence and with a radiation dose reduction. For MRI it is possible to manipulate the sequence parameters to create an image with higher spatial resolution and shorter imaging times. In this webinar, recent clinical applications, learnings and best practices of AI including Deep Learning, TrueFidelity™ and AIR™ Recon DL will be presented by renowned radiologists from Australia and New Zealand in CT and MR Imaging. This session will explore: • AI in MRI and how it assists in spatial resolution increase and image quality aiding Radiology reporting and exam time efficiency. Clinical cases in Body MR imaging. • Multiple AI models in CT including the detection of incidental Prostate tumours and the supreme image quality that TrueFidelity ™ provides across all aspects of CT imaging including Spectral. • Meet the experts online via Q&A. FROGG # 3 Genitourinary Sessions for Radiation Oncology Trainees, supported by Mundipharma (Eligard)
During the third session, our guest speaker will be Dr Alison Tree, Consultant Clinical Oncologist, The Royal Marsden Hospital. Radiotherapy technology has undergone a revolution over the last decade, with fractionation, dosimetry and image-guidance changing almost beyond recognition. This has enabled us to deliver bold new treatments, develop whole new machines like the MR Linac, and expand the reach of radiotherapy into metastatic disease. But radiotherapy technology is expensive and healthcare budgets are not infinite. Are radiotherapy innovations been driven by evidence and clinical need, or are these innovations driven by what is possible, rather than sensible? Come and join the discussion! Topic: Prostate Brachytherapy Nuts and Bolts During the fifth session, our guest speaker will be Dr Gerard Morton, radiation oncologist at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre, Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto, and Adjunct Professor of Physics at Ryerson University. Prostate brachytherapy, either low or high dose-rate, delivers the highest possible dose to prostate cancer in the most conformal way possible. Guidelines recommend its use as a boost to treat higher risk disease, and as a very suitable option as monotherapy for more favourable cancers. Decades of clinical experience including randomized clinical trials have established brachytherapy as a highly effective, safe and economical treatment, and it has emerged as the preferred approach for many men across a range of risk groupings. Webinar attendees will be able to: - Select patients for treatment with prostate brachytherapy as monotherapy and as a boost - Describe how LDR and HDR brachytherapy are performed - Compare clinical outcome of prostate brachytherapy with other modalities International Speaker Biography Dr Gerard Morton is a radiation oncologist at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre, Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto, and Adjunct Professor of Physics at Ryerson University.  His primary clinical and academic focus in on GU malignancies and brachytherapy in particular.  He chairs the ASTRO GU Track and sits on the NRG/RTOG GU Core Committee.  He is chair of the Brachytherapy Committee of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and Program Director of the Brachytherapy Training Program at the University of Toronto.  He is co-chair of several ongoing national and international clinical trials of prostate radiotherapy, and has published extensively on prostate cancer and brachytherapy.  He is an associate editor of Clinical Oncology, Brachytherapy and Radiotherapy and Oncology.

FROGG #7 - Genitourinary Sessions for Radiation Oncology Trainees, Supported by Mundipharma (Eligard)
Topic: The contemporary non-surgical management of muscle-invasive bladder cancer | a case-based discussion Bladder cancer patients are subject to health inequalities and limited access to suitable treatment options in different healthcare systems. It is important that all appropriate treatment options are made available. With the growing acceptance that surgery and radiation therapy provide equivalent outcomes for patients with organ-confined muscle-invasive bladder cancer, it is important to understand the role of chemotherapy, radiation therapy and radio sensitisation. International guidelines now advise discussion of both options with suitable patients with many patients opting for bladder preservation. Radiation therapy also plays an important role in patients unsuitable for radical treatment. Webinar attendees will be able to: 1. Select patients suitable for bladder preservation 2. Discuss the merits of different radiosensitisers 3. Understand the role of hypofractionation in the treatment of bladder cancer Meet our International guest speaker: Professor Ananya Choudhury is Chair and Honorary Consultant in Clinical Oncology. She joined The Christie in 2008 specialising in urology and sarcoma and has a strong interest in translational research. In 2013, she decided to focus on radiotherapy-related research in prostate and bladder cancers. Within the Division of Cancer Sciences, The University of Manchester, she is clinical lead for advanced radiotherapy, including the MRLinac project, and is co-Group Leader of The Translational Radiobiology Group. Over the past few years, Professor Choudhury has been involved with national concerns such as the Royal College of Radiologists, the National Cancer Research Institute (NCRI) Clinical and Translational Radiotherapy Research Working Group (CTRad), the NCRI Bladder Clinical Studies Group and the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE). Since early 2021, she has been the Editor in Chief of Clinical Oncology.

FROGG #8 Genitourinary Sessions for Radiation Oncology supported by Mundipharma
Topic: Radiotherapy for renal cell carcinoma: renaissance of an overlooked approach Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the 8th most common cancer in Australia. When localised it is managed predominantly with surgery and less frequently with interventional thermal ablation techniques. RCC is considered traditionally radioresistant and radiotherapy has limited utility outside of occasional palliation in advanced disease. With the advent of newer techniques such as stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR), radiotherapy is enjoying a renaissance in its uptake in the management of RCC. In order to keep up-to-date with advances in knowledge in the role of radiotherapy for primary RCC, this lecture will explore several fundamental concepts. This includes the radiobiology of RCC, technical aspects of SABR delivery in primary RCC, use of SABR in for larger renal masses, outcomes of SABR with solitary kidneys, renal function and nephron sparing approaches with SABR, and the use of SABR as a cytoreductive therapy to the primary in advanced RCC. Learning objectives - Radiobiology of radio resistance in renal cell carcinoma - Indications for SABR in primary RCC and expected outcomes - Technical considerations for SABR in primary RCC - Outcomes expected for SABR in metastatic RCC - SABR in the context of systemic therapies Meet our guest speaker: Associate Professor Shankar Siva (PhD) is a radiation oncologist and leads the stereotactic body radiotherapy (SABR) service at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He has over 200 manuscript publications, including original works in leading journals such as Lancet Onc, JAMA Onc, European Urology and Journal of Thoracic Oncology. He leads 5 international multicentre trials through the TransTasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG) with a focus in SABR. His current research program focuses on high-tech radiotherapy delivery, in the context of SABR and immunotherapy combinations, oligometastatic disease, lung, kidney cancer and prostate cancer.
